Market Structure Analysis
What Market Structure measures
Where trading actually happened and who was pushing. It combines Market Profile levels (POC, VAH, VAL) with order flow delta, cumulative volume delta and open interest, so you see the price levels that held the most volume alongside whether buyers or sellers were the aggressors there.
How to read the value area
POC is the price with the most traded volume; VAH and VAL bound the range holding roughly 70% of it. Price inside the value area signals balance — a market agreeing on price. Price leaving it signals imbalance, and whether the move sticks usually depends on whether delta confirms the direction.
What CVD divergence tells you
Cumulative volume delta tracks whether aggressive buying or selling dominates over time. When price makes a new high but CVD does not, the move is being carried by passive flow rather than fresh aggression — a sign the push is weaker than the chart suggests. The same logic applies inverted at lows.
Which markets are covered?
Crypto has full coverage, since exchange APIs publish taker volume by side. Equity indices, gold and oil are supported through their futures data. Spot forex is deliberately excluded from the volume-based readings: decentralised FX has no consolidated volume, so any delta figure there would be an invention rather than a measurement.
